Position Description          

POSITION TITLE:                 I-Tech Sales Consultant, Presale. 

DEPARTMENT:                          iTech, China 

REPORTING TO (TITLE ONLY)    :      iTech Manager

GLOBAL JOB LEVEL:                 IC2 - IC3 (depends on experience)

POSITION SUMMARY 

l         Support business development and transactional sales for Oracle Technology solutions by creating Proof of Concepts (POCs), demonstrations, scripts and presentations for use by Oracle iTech and Field Sales teams, the Industries Team and the Oracle iTech BD Team. l         Architect and deploy technology initiatives that:
- encourage Oracle Technology presales support in the sales cycle,
- empower the Sales Reps,
- assist management by driving business development  l         Design and develop prototypes and working demonstrations using Oracle technology to support sales opportunities and business development initiatives l         Use technical development skills in support of business and sales initiatives in one or more of the following areas:
- Database design and programming, plus high availability (RAC, DR) 
- Data warehousing solutions l         Learn and maintain in depth knowledge of Oracle Technology, and transfer such knowledge to other Oracle iTech Sales Consultants and Sales Reps. l         Design, build and deliver Sales Program materials such as training, eNewsletters, and iSeminar presentations and demonstrations. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

l         EXPERIENCE
1. 4+ IT industry experience - Must 2. Fluency in Mandarin and English - Essential
3. RDBMS programming (developer) experience - Essential 4. Knowledge of DW/OLAP/DataMining products is Important

5. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, progressive organization essential
6. Compatible interpersonal skills and multi cultural sensitivity essential

7. 4+ years VLDB DBA & performance tuning experiences highly valued
8. 2+ years shell/perl/c/c++ programming on experiences - highly valued 
9. Good knowledge of Oracle’s technology products highly valued
10. OCP certificate holder highly valued

11. Ability to work independently and with a team  12. Strong communication and training skills required
13. Competitive product knowledge highly valued

QUALIFICATIONS

  Bachelor degree essential 

Good Presentation skill      

Good Task Management skill  

  Good Technical knowledge

Good team player
